International Youth for a Better World is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is based in Virginia.

• We empower young people to identify problems in their local communities and help them put solutions into practice, rather than imposing policies from outside.
• We train young people to be leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers, allowing them to use their talents to help their communities and their countries.
• Our four-month training program consists of a course in leadership, communication and entrepreneurship; development by trainees of a small project to address an issue in their communities; and implementation of the project. We follow up with project evaluation and ongoing support from staff and other trainees.
• We provide children with school supplies, books, and libraries to help them develop their knowledge, creativity, and desire to learn.
• We do everything we can to ensure that the talent and potential of children and young adults are not ignored, neglected, or wasted by poverty, discrimination, or lack of opportunity.
